ROUTE
(I)
Everest Base Camp & Kalapther Trekking. Everest
Base Camp is one of the best trekking destinations
in the world. Solukhumbu is justifiably famous,
not only for the world's highest mountain, but
for its Sherpa villages and monasteries. The main
goal of an Everest trek is Base Camp at an elevation
of about 5340m. But you cannot see Everest from
the Base Camp, though you will enjoy the view
of the beautiful, and dangerous, Khumbu icefall,
so trekkers must climb Kala Pattar a 5545m hump
on the southern flank of Pumori (7145m) from where
there is dramatic view of Everest, the Western
Cwm and Lhotse Face. |

ROUTE
(II)
Kathmandu to Jiri is 188 km.but by bus it takes
full day. This is the best way to do an Everest
Base Camp trek. Because most of the people fly
to Lukla and only trek the high-altitude portion
of the route. This means that the portion of the
trek from jiri to Lukla is often uncrowned, and
there for excellent trekking country.
You follows the classic Everest Expedition route
though hill village. Lots of climbing as the route
crosses several ridge, than descends to cross
a river. An excellent trek that offer good chance
to acclimatize before heading to Everest Base
Camp. |
