This trek has got the lot. We warm up by visiting the turquoise lakes of the Gokyo valley for spectacular views of the huge massifs of Everest (8850m) Cho Oyu (8153m) and Gyachung Kang (7922m) Mt.Makalu before crossing the Cho La pass which links Gokyo to the main Everest trek at Loboje. Then we climb to the summit of Kala Pattar for close up views of Everest's South-West Face, before racing down the Khumbu valley to the famous Buddhist monastery at Tengboche for the annual festival of Mani Rimdu.
This is one of the special Treks to Everest Region where most of the trekkers, during the festival time, observed the Mani Rimdu festival. This festival has special feature so the visitor from the world may observe festival. It, in these years, falls on the full moon day of 17th October 2005 and programme will be continuing up to 19th October 2005. Most of the Sherpas wear their religious dress with mask for performing dance and the rite and ritual. The festival lasts for four days. The last day of festival the observer entertain a lot.
Mani Rimdu festival observes most of Sherpa villages of Nepal. The renowned monastery called Thyngboche 3800m. Lying in the Everest region and also situated in lap of Ama Dablam 6,812m. Mountain is the main place. From here the visitor can view the highest mountain of the World, Mt. Everest 8848m, and other snow capped mountains. To arrive here it takes 12 days from the Jiri and 4 days trek from Lukla. From Kathmandu to Lukla, it takes 35 minutes of flights. On this occasion most of visitors from the World wide comes to see it. Seeing all the ceremony, returned through the Everest base camp (Kala Patthar 5545m.) back to Lukla & flight to Kathmandu.

Day 01 : pick up from the Airport, transfer to hotel and welcome dinner.
Day 02 : Sightseeing in Katmandu valley.
Day 03 : Fly Kathmandu to Lukla trek to Phakding (2652m) (4 hrs).
Day 04 : Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3446m) (6 hrs).
Day 05 : Namche Bazaar Rest for acclimatization.
Day 06 : Namche to Phortse Thanga (3500m) (5 hrs).
Day 07 : Phortse to Dole (4200m) (4 hrs.
Day 08 : Dole to Marcherma (4410m) (3:30 hrs).
Day 09 : Marchermo to Gokyo Lakes (4750m) (4 hrs).
Day 10 : Summit Gokyo Ri (5350m) & overnight in Gokyo (4750m).
Day 11 : Gokyo to Thangna (4700m) (3 to 4 hrs).
Day 12 : Thangna to Dzong-La (4843m) via Cho La Pass (7 to 8 hrs).
Day 13 : Dzong La to Lobuche (4930m) (3 hours).
Day 14 : Summit Kala Pattar Peak (5545m) O/N in Loboche. (7 to 8 hrs).
Day 15 : Loboche to Tengboche monastery (3870m) (6 to 7 hrs).
Day 16 : Mani Rimdu Festival.
Day 17 : Mani Rimdu Festival.
Day 18 : Tengboche to Namache Bazar (3446m) (5 hours).
Day 19 : Namche Bazar to Lukla (2800m) (7 hrs).
Day 20 : Lukla to Kahtmandu by flight.
Day 21 : Sightseeing/free day in Kathmandu.
Day 22 : Transfer you in International Airport for flight home.
